HR Generalist Opportunity

Looking for an HR Generalist to join a growing organization! This position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing various HR functions including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires an individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment and is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the full cycle of payroll processing, including the calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, helping to foster a supportive work environment.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, STD, LTD, life insurance, retirement plans, and other company benefits.
• Manage the recruitment process from job posting to hiring, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience in a Human Resources capacity.
• Experience performing duties related to Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Talent Acquisition.
• Experience supporting sites in multiple states.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• HR Certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR, etc.) are a plus.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
• College education is preferred.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
