Hr Generalist

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join a dynamic team in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This role involves supporting various aspects of the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth operations while applying independent judgment and discretion. The ideal candidate will excel in HR administration, employee relations, and benefit functions, contributing to organizational success. Must have experience with HRIS- ADP. Client offers medical, dental, vision, 401k, unlimited PTO, and other perks. The pay scale is $70k-$80k and offers a hybrid 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support across multiple functions, including employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration.
• Manage and maintain HRIS systems to ensure accurate and accessible employee records.
• Oversee payroll processes using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring timely and precise execution.
• Coordinate onboarding initiatives to create a seamless experience for new hires.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to align HR strategies with operational goals.
• Administer employee benefits programs, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Support compliance efforts by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee engagement and skill development.
• Address employee concerns and grievances, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
• Assist with the implementation and optimization of HR systems and tools to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HR administration and employee relations.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and payroll systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and associated processes.
• Ability to manage onboarding activities effectively and professionally.
• Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices and HR alignment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of labor laws and regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
