The Sales & Marketing Representative will perform the following duties in Springfield, IL and the surrounding market area:
- Market Performance Foodservice's high quality products and superior foodservice delivery to a wide range of customers including restaurants, cafeterias and related businesses within a geographical sales territory
- Regularly visit customers and prospective customer locations
- Grow market share by opening new accounts
- Develop business by being a champion of company branded products
- Develop and execute business plans
- Ensure that independent and regional account business is developed and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved
- Manage pricing, collect money and monitor credit term compliance
- Effectively manage time and resources to attain results
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
- Valid driver's license
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree business management, sales/marketing, or related area
- 1-2 years foodservice sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

The Performance Foodservice team delivers delicious food, but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
Compensation:
We offer a salary between $65-75K, based upon experience, during training. Post training, reps will earn commissions + subsidy until they scale their territory to 100% commission. Top performers can earn well over $100,000 annually!
