Food Service Area Supervisor

Under the general supervision from a Food Service Administrator, perform line supervisory duties for a food service unit within the Food Service Department. FLSA: Non-Exempt

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years (36 months) of food service work experience in an institutional or commercial setting.
  • Supervisory ability and experience.
  • Ability to pass food handlers examination.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures and possession of Illinois Department of Public Health Food Service Management Sanitation Certificate.

Illinois residency requires proof of a valid Illinois Driver\'s License or state of Illinois ID Card. Failure to produce the required documentation within 180 calendar days is grounds for immediate separation.
