Will work between multiple stores in the district. This location is closed on Sundays. Compensation Starting Pay Range: $17.00 Hourly The Field Service Representative plays a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of one or more self-storage locations, under the guidance of the District Manager. This role ensures the facility meets high cleanliness standards and consistently delivers operational excellence. The Field Service Representative is accountable for building customer relationships, presenting a structured sales process, and managing the property. You'd start your day in a company provided Ford F150 truck. Extra Space Storage is the largest self storage company in the United States by store count, with over 4,000 stores nationwide. Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily inventory checks of our bar-coded storage spaces using a handheld scanner and a company provided Android phone
• Routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of our storage units
• Troubleshooting gates and I.T. equipment
• Repairs to our roll-up doors, latches, and tracks
• General upkeep (weed spraying, shrub trimming, and leaf removal)
• Conduct daily physical storage unit inspections, confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are secure and/or ready to rent.

Qualifications:

• Must have maintenance experience (we will provide training on our storage-specific troubleshooting and repairs.)
• Detail-oriented.
• Basic mechanical and technology skills using smart phones, apps and other software.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (heavy lifting up to 70 lbs. regularly, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, etc.)
