Honeywell Intelligrated is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer II to deliver onsite technical expertise and ensure the performance of our advanced material handling and automation solutions. In this role, you'll be the go-to technical resource, solving complex issues, supporting successful system implementations, and keeping our customers' operations running at peak efficiency. This position involves extensive travel throughout the Central Midwest region, primarily covering major metropolitan areas. The ideal candidate will reside within this region and within one hour of a major airport to support frequent travel requirements. A company vehicle (rental car) is provided for business use.
Compensation information The annual base salary range for this position is $71,200-89,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems with industrial automation systems, including PLCs (Allen Bradley), HMIs, VFDs, conveyors, palletizers, and robotics.
Onsite Technical Support: Provide advanced support for Honeywell's material handling systems to minimize downtime and maximize customer efficiency.
Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product management, and project teams to ensure smooth implementation of automation solutions.
Customer Training & Mentorship: Conduct training sessions for customers and mentor junior service engineers.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry advancements and recommend improvements to optimize system performance.
