Engineering Lab Technician

Engineering Lab Technician

Working hours from Monday to Friday, either from 6am to 2:30pm or 7am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests and record data for prototypes and end products using engineering test equipment
• Prepare test plans, data sheets, graphs, and charts, and write detailed test reports relating to specified test requirements
• Develop test fixtures and equipment for New Product Development and Production
• Document and perform tests, maintain records, and summarize data for analysis

Essential Skills:

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or three years of experience
• Proficiency with test equipment, procedures, and commonly used components for testing
• Mechanical aptitude, including wiring and assembly skills
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with SolidWorks is a plus
• TIG welding or induction brazing experience is beneficial
• Experience with electrical testing equipment like oscilloscopes, micrometers, multimeters, voltage testers, and ground resistance testers

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00/yr. Offers competitive salary, full benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life, EAP and 401k with employer match

Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Batavia, IL
