Position: Construction Engineer II

6 Month contract, potential to extend up to 30 months

Work Days: 3 days a week mandatory in the office (Tues/Wed/Thurs)
Work Hours: 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch assumed)
Travel: At least 1 day of site visits every 3-4 weeks due to outer market site workload
Job Descriptions:
Responsible for RF Datasheet review, Construction drawing adjustment, equipment ordering, GC management and close-out review of tower based cell site modification projects. Primary focus is managing the installation of 4G + 5G Ericsson radios, tower-based antennas/radios/hybrids and associated secondary cabling. The engineer will ensure the proper expansion of network capacity and support the modification teams needs with tower and ground modification projects. The individual will be responsible for creating Bill of Materials, ordering materials, managing inventory with the GCs for each project. They will have to work closely with other engineers with Real Estate, RF and Network Operations during design and implementation of the site upgrades. The applicant needs to be able to budget spend monthly based on project workload and expected cost. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to complete tasks with little supervision. Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team Members. Associates degree or minimum of 5 yrs. equivalent telecommunications experience required.
