Job Opportunity: Delivery Representative
Lakeshore Beverage is seeking a skilled delivery representative with great customer service skills and knowledge of the local market. This is a full-time regular position, Tuesday through Friday, starting at 5 a.m. and ending when all deliveries are complete. This position is guaranteed 40 hours per week. Typical duties include:
- Drive commercial delivery trucks, van and/or tractor-trailer combinations to deliver products
- Build strong partnerships with retailers by building displays, filling coolers and merchandising retail accounts with permanent and temporary point of sale items
- Maintain product freshness through proper rotation
- Complete and turn in all company paperwork, invoices, display forms, load sheets, and checks within appropriate timeframes
The Delivery Driver is expected to unload each accounts order, place it in the designated area inside the accounts facility, fill all coolers and shelves, merchandise/face and straighten all products in the retail space, and rotate stock appropriately according to expiration date. The Rep is responsible for maintaining product freshness by moving products as necessary, and will maintain a high level of neatness and cleanliness in each stores displays and coolers. This is a physically demanding job. A high level of fitness and dexterity is required.
