Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to provide hands-on technical support and ensure seamless operations in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong IT background, adaptability, and a proactive approach to managing diverse technical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site technical support, assisting employees with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage and configure network systems, including Cisco network stacks and switch networks.
  • Administer Active Directory, Exchange, and integrate third-party enterprise applications.
  • Provide support for common office tools and SaaS platforms, including Office 365 and ZoomInfo.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to printing, networking, and typical office technology.
  • Offer guidance and training on security protocols and identity management practices.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes for employees in a dynamic work environment.
  • Support hybrid work operations by addressing both on-site and remote technical challenges.
  • Adapt quickly to new systems and tools, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient problem-solving.
  • Utilize security tools and maintain basic knowledge of cybersecurity to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in IT support, with a generalist skillset.
    • Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, Cisco technologies, and Linux systems.
    • Familiarity with security tools and SaaS platforms, such as Canva.
    • Ability to configure network systems and manage Cisco network stacks.
    • Strong knowledge of security practices, particularly in identity management.
    • Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes and supporting hybrid work models.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to learn and work with new systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
