Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Deerfield, Illinois, on a contract basis. This role involves providing technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting a Windows 11 migration project. Responsibilities:

• Offer deskside support to approximately 50 users by addressing technical issues and providing solutions.
• Resolve support tickets related to password resets, software installations, internet connectivity, and user access to systems such as SharePoint.
• Assist with the Windows 11 migration project by imaging devices, applying updates, and troubleshooting compatibility issues.
• Ensure clear and precise communication with end-users while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Perform hands-on tasks requiring adherence to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe boots and goggles when necessary.
• Maintain and configure desktop hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Document and track technical issues to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of Tier II IT support experience.
• Strong proficiency in Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows 10.
• Ability to work independently and manage diverse technical issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including reliability, punctuality, and customer-oriented communication.
• Comfortable performing hands-on technical tasks in environments requiring safety equipment.
• Knowledge of Windows 11 and Intune is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Certifications or relevant degrees in IT are a plus.
• Familiarity with desktop imaging and workstation setup processes.
