Dealer-Facing Processes & Systems Team

The Dealer-Facing Processes & Systems team is seeking a Design Engineer to lead and oversee engineering processes that deliver critical content to dealers and customers throughout the sales journey. This role will collaborate closely with Energy & Transportation (E&T) product groups to align with the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring seamless integration and execution. The Design Engineer will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and distributing work across the team, while also driving the development of advanced digital products that enhance automation and digital capabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and delegate tasks to Associate Design Engineers to ensure efficient workflow and project execution
  • Lead and manage digital initiatives, driving the development and delivery of innovative solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal product teams, Application & Installation (A&I), and design engineering groups to align project goals and deliverables
  • Support dealers by ensuring timely access to accurate engineering content that enhances customer experience
  • Expand and maintain the dealer-facing design library, enabling self-service access to downloadable content for customer use

Skills Needed

  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
  • Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyze, simulate and test product design drafts.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

  • Experience with Autodesk Products (i.e., Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable with E&T products, engineering standards, and price list.
  • Experience in drafting and/or design engineer is preferred.

Additional Info

Location: Mossville, IL

This role requires 5 days a week in the office
