Customer Service Representative (CSR) Opportunity

Our client, a leading provider in the logistics and freight management industry, is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their dynamic team. As a CSR, you will be part of the Customer Service Department supporting freight inquiries and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong computer proficiency, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a temporary position lasting approximately 3 to 4 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.

Job Title: Customer Service Rep- CSR

Location: LaSalle, IL

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri

What's The Job?

• Handle customer inquiries via phone regarding freight shipments
• Work in a cubicle environment and collaborate with warehouse staff to gather freight information
• Manage and update call logs accurately
• Assist with processing billing and documentation errors
• Problem solve and communicate effectively with customers, including handling difficult conversations

What's Needed?

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
• Proficiency with computer programs and ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging customer interactions
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within logistics or a similar industry
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
