Job Summary
Delivering and developing training content and curriculum to support crisis intervention services for enrolled Medicaid Behavioral Health Providers in the State of Illinois. Train the IM+CANS, IM-CAT, Mobile Crisis Response required trainings, Human Trafficking, and other crisis and clinical content developed for funder initiatives. Provide on-going coaching and support to Crisis Services Specialists on new initiatives and serve as Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager for new content development and training material related to all crisis initiatives. Work with the Crisis Services Coordinator to facilitate crisis implementation efforts to guide future curriculum development, support statewide strategies, and provide direct coaching and support to Medicaid agencies and providers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Trains and coaches Crisis Curriculum: Develop and coordinate crisis, clinical services training with Field and Systems of Care team. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to design training curricula and identify/update skill competencies. Write program\'s annual and long-range plans with Assistant Director of Field Services and Associate Director of PATH. Assure appropriate integration of a multi-service, multi-disciplinary, and systems approach to training. Observe and provide feedback to specialists facilitating crisis-related curriculum to ensure quality delivery of training curriculum. Develop a network database of trauma-informed clinical services, specifically as it pertains to crisis response services in Illinois. Coordinate training tools, including schedules, trainer identification, visual aids, and data analysis. Provide technical support to implement new strategies, ensuring program model fidelity and use of evaluation feedback. Work in conjunction with PATH leadership and CQR team to integrate evaluation feedback into training and coaching initiatives. Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration among training facilitators. This position plays a crucial role in advancing the organization\'s commitment to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed clinical services through effective training and program development. Provide guidance and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to PATH leadership and supervisory support to Specialist team to ensure fidelity to training curriculum and delivery of training using proven training platform skills. Trains and coaches providers on Mobile Crisis Response and associated curriculum and consults with system partners to ensure effective implementation of services, including the implementation of best practices in delivering crisis services. Provides training in order to model facilitation of content for new specialists as well as to introduce new training curriculum to providers. Provides direct field support and coaching to providers as necessary in order to meet provider need and demand. Work collaboratively with community agencies, organizations, and institutions, including Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), Office of Medicaid Innovation, UIUC-School of Social Work and PATH leadership. Establish and maintain contacts with community groups to address training needs. Collaborate with stakeholders such as community-based organizations, law enforcement, academics, and subject matter experts. Actively participate in forums, meetings, and strategy sessions with stakeholders. Monitors training and coaching delivery, including providing feedback and with integration of data in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Field Services and Associate Director of PATH. Other duties as assigned. Statewide travel.

Minimum Qualifications
Master\'s degree in social work or related field from an accredited college or university. 1-3 years of Crisis Work experience. IM+CANS trainer level certification within 90 days of hire. Illinois clinical licensure. LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC 140.453.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with IM-CAT, CANS, ANSA, FAST or TCOM, experience training. Mobile Crisis Response experience. 1 year of supervisory experience; 1 year of IM+CANS training experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Self-motivated and able to work semi-independently to train peers in crisis response, assessment, and care planning.
