The Facilities Management Department at SIUE is accepting applications for multiple temporary Grounds Workers. The Grounds Worker spends a substantial amount of time trimming, dethatching, aerating lawns and fields, and seeding and sodding, on all University properties. This position will maintain athletic fields/artificial turf, mark out boundaries, paint team logos, and remove trash/recycle material. Additionally, the Grounds Worker will assist in tree planting; trimming of hedges, shrubs and small trees; and removing dead, damaged or unwanted trees as needed. The Grounds Worker will also help plant flowers, trees, and shrubs; water lawns, trees and landscapes; and handle removal of nuisance animals.

Work Schedule:
Positions will begin approximately in mid-April and run through mid-October. Hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. FLSA: Non-Exempt
