Area Sales Manager

Illa specializes in distribution, logistics, and supply chain services, providing seamless solutions for SMEs and Corporates in the FMCG sector, ensuring efficient distribution and supply chain management.

Seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager with 7 to 10 years in sales. The candidate must have a strong FMCG background (preferably in beverages) and expertise in traditional trade. Experience working with drivers and couriers for logistics coordination is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
  • Lead, train, build and support the sales team to improve productivity.
  • Oversee operations and coordinate with drivers and couriers to ensure smooth product deliveries.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with logistics teams to align sales and delivery operations.
  • Monitor and optimize the traditional trade network to maximize reach.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and performance insights.
  • Oversee sales planning, forecasting, and execution to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Managing sales operations effectively is a must.

Requirements:

- Experience: 7 to 10 years in sales, with a strong FMCG background.

- Industry Focus: Experience in beverages is highly preferred.

- Market Knowledge: Strong expertise in traditional trade and distributor management.

- Sales Management: Experience in managing sales teams, setting targets, and executing sales strategies is a must.

- Logistics & Operations: Ability to work with drivers and couriers to ensure smooth delivery.

- Leadership Skills: Experience leading and motivating a sales team.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

- Location: Must be based in Cairo, Egypt.

- Education: A degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
