Intake Sales Specialist (Disaster Recovery) — Greater Sacramento

This role drives the business. Every job starts with you. If you're the type who answers fast, takes control of the call, and closes, keep reading. If you wait, hesitate, or "just take messages"—this isn't for you. You are the first point of contact and the first sales rep. When someone calls us, it's because something went wrong—flood, fire, damage—and they need direction now. You set the tone, you take control, you move the job forward. Speed matters. Confidence matters. Closing matters.

What You'll Do

  • Answer immediately — speed-to-lead is everything
  • Take control of the call — guide the conversation, don't follow it
  • Qualify and close — get commitment and schedule the inspection
  • Capture everything — loss details, access, decision-maker, insurance
  • Set the job up right — clean, complete info so ops can execute
  • Hand off seamlessly — no dropped balls, no confusion
  • Document like a pro — CRM entries must be clean and complete
  • Continuously improve — refine scripts, tighten processes, get better daily

What Winning Looks Like

  • Speed-to-lead: under 60 seconds
  • Close rate: 80%+ qualified calls booked
  • Zero sloppy files: 100% accurate CRM entries
  • Customer feedback: people remember how you handled the call
