Role: Responsible for the regional marketing strategy and delivery of the regional marketing plan to drive lead generation, increase brand awareness, as well as support customer retention.
You will be responsible for increasing the pipeline both for new accounts as well as installed base. Your primary objectives will be to generate newly qualified leads and support the progression of those leads through to close. In focusing on this, your work will also support increasing brand awareness both in target segments and across the industry at large.
Set the regional marketing strategy aligned to the regional business plan and global marketing objectives. Ensure the strategy and resulting marketing plan is led by the regional Go-To-Market (GTM) and Territory Plans, with integration to related functions (specifically: Sales and Partner & Alliances)
Own lead generation in the core industries that IFS focuses on in region (aligned to GTM and Territory Plans)
Responsible for identifying, researching and positioning IFS with high potential companies as well as contribute to developing and presenting value propositions in cooperation with the Business Development team and the respective Sales Managers (i.e. account based marketing or ABM)
Overall responsibility for developing and implementing a marketing plan for our install base of customers. Responsibilities include analyzing and identifying opportunities for upgrades and add on sales as well planning, successful execution and follow up on a diverse range of customer retention and development activities
Collaborate with the central marketing team to build industry campaigns, and then own the localization and implementation across the region
Ownership of local marcom activities including running events and both internal & external communications – working with appointed agencies as required
Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
Support regional management with pipeline, market and segment insight and analysis
Implement and manage strategic brand-building activities to support the long-term growth of IFS within the region in accordance with the global brand initiatives
Lead, grow and develop the APJMEA marketing team in line with the regional business plan

Manage external productions, deliveries and regionally specific sales enablement material

University degree with a business or marketing degree (preferred)
Experienced in B2B marketing environment working with strategic marketing, preferably within the software industry.
Experience working with sales and with Partners (SIs and also the Channel)
