Job Description

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Software Engineer to join our team and take ownership of designing, building, and scaling secure, high-performance systems. The ideal candidate is a strong backend engineer with expertise in Java or Go, and familiarity with React or Angular on the frontend is highly desirable.

Our team is focused on authentication and authorization features, so prior experience with identity management, access control, or security frameworks will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems using Java or Go.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs (and optionally gRPC).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement secure authentication and authorization features.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Drive architecture and design discussions, ensuring solutions are reliable, secure, and maintainable.
• Contribute to frontend development where needed, ideally with React or Angular.
• Ensure strong engineering practices including CI/CD workflows, Git-based version control, and automated testing.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (backend focus).
• Strong hands-on experience with Java or Go (deep knowledge of one is essential).
• Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs (gRPC experience is a plus).
• Experience in building authentication, authorization, or identity management features (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Strong understanding of modern CI/CD workflows, Git, and automated testing.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular will be a plus point.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of microservices and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Prior experience working on security-focused products.
