Paraprofessional Position

The Paraprofessional position is a 32-hour per week position located at Mountain View School District #244 in Grangeville, Idaho. Position requires applicant to have at least 2 years of experience in a related field of handling children with special needs in a school setting. Position requires applicant to have 32 college credits in an educational field to be a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional, OR the ability to become a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional before the first day of employment by taking and passing the Paraprofessional Praxis exam. Provide unofficial college/university transcripts as proof of Highly Qualified credits. Must be submitted to the District Office upon date of hire and no later than 9/1/25. OR Provide proof (copy) of Paraprofessional Praxis exam to the District Office by 9/1/25. Must meet job requirements of Mountain View School District #244. Background record check must be completed upon date of hire. Background record check must be cleared by the State Dept of Education before the first day of school to begin working. This can be a 6-8 week process. Salary is based upon the 2025-26 non-certified salary schedule. Benefits include medical, vision, dental insurance and retirement benefits.
