Sr Engineer Of Sap Pricing, Rebates & Incentives

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to support the SAP pricing and rebates and incentives team. This position is a leadership role and will work with the different business and IT teams on these areas to design and improve the SAP and Vistex supported solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical leadership in execution and management of the solutions in SAP pricing rebates and chargebacks.
  • Supporting the integration with other applications like EDI/Vendavo/etc. related to the pricing, rebates, and incentives area.
  • Providing leadership in planning/sequencing of end-to-end design workshops and supporting facilitation of workshops, leveraging knowledge of industry best practices and application of global SAP implementation experience.
  • Guiding complex fit/gap analysis, effort estimates, and design decisions and validating fit/gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members; ensuring deviations from "out of the box" functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition.
  • Working on SAP build projects that are prioritized by business to either enhance the current platforms or create new SAP instances as required.
  • Solution ownership of defects, enhancements, and new build projects for RNI.
  • Identifying synergies and optimization areas within the RNI domain and managing the execution.
  • Understanding the solution and being able to test it as required.
  • Keeping up with emerging technologies and changes in business processes.
  • Maintaining strategic relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Being customer focused and having a deep understanding of business needs.
  • Driving end-user satisfaction by using specific metrics.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management.
  • Providing solution leadership, organizing, and overseeing projects.
  • Influencing internal and external clients to leverage out of the box solutions and reducing customizations.
  • Helping in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with functional partners to deliver solutions for value-add business functions.
  • Collaborating with other process tower leaders (OTC, PTP, RTR, and non-SAP systems) to ensure a cohesive solution without impacting cross functional and downstream processes or applications.
  • Providing support in preparing and conducting prioritization meetings (for enhancements and defects) with the RNI functional partners.
  • Ensuring all critical RNI processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automating recurrent incidents.
  • Closely following the strategic direction set by the segment and executing on priority goals.
  • Closely working with infrastructure teams to ensure a reliable and stable operations.
  • Complying and enforcing adoption of Solution Manager, Charm Management, HP ALM, and other standard tools.
  • Being accountable for IT controls, SOX compliance, and audit findings on the SAP Pharma platform.
  • Being responsible for the KPIs and BPM metrics that support current and future Pharma business units on SAP.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 8+ years experience in SAP pricing, rebates, and chargebacks preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in directly or indirectly managing three or more resources preferred.
  • Functional knowledge in Vistex modules preferred.
  • Experience with integration points between pricing, contracts, and other SAP modules preferred (SD, MM, FI/CO).
  • Knowledge or previous experience in ABAP and debugging is preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced S/4 features such as FIORI apps, CDS views, and embedded analytics preferred.
  • Experienced in all global SAP aspects, including defining & assigning enterprise structure, master data, sales order processing, and purchasing functions preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills preferred.
  • Strong business acumen in healthcare wholesale distribution space preferred.
  • Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical capabilities and solutions preferred.
  • Strong experience in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with our functional partners to deliver quality business solutions preferred.
  • Experience providing direction to the teams in managing and troubleshooting complex interfaces involving multiple systems preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $121,600 - $173,700. Bonus eligible: Yes.
