In addition to working with traditional Complementary Metal-OxideSemiconductor (CMOS) and interconnect, develop new methodologies for characterizing novel devices. Partner with engineering teams from process integration, process development, design, product, and quality & reliability. Undertake the implementation of electrical characterization processes for a diverse array of semiconductor devices. Lead workflows and establish best known methods for electrical characterization. Engage in collaborative efforts with global teams to contribute to technology development. May telecommute part time.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Semiconductor Process Engineer-related occupation. Position requires education or experience in:

  • Semiconductor device physics, electrical characterization, processing, and instrumentation;
  • Device operation in memory systems, including NAND, DRAM, storage class, and other memories;
  • Operation and automation of semiconductor instrumentation including, Parameter analyzers, SPA, SMU, LCR meters, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Pulse & Wafeform Generators, Wafer Probers, ATE and bench systems;
  • Software tools and operating systems, including Python, C/C++, Unix/Linux, JMP/JSL;
  • Defining electrical device characterization methods.
