The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. This role is responsible for the support of physical security systems globally, including but not limited to, access control, surveillance, visitor management, mass communication, and related security technologies. Key duties include overseeing global project management & vendor management for installations, upgrades, repairs, software maintenance, and licensing. The position also provides day-to-day technical support, training, and consultation to site personnel, ensuring seamless operation and allowing business units to stay focused on their core objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Typical Education: Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Project Management, IT or related field. Project Management Certification (PMP) or willingness to obtain.
Relevant Experience: 3+ years related experience and/or training.
Other Information: Demonstrated understanding of Facilities, Security Systems, Project Management, or an IT related field with the ability to address moderately complex issues. Experience in one or more physical security systems is preferred. Experience with writing & developing policies, procedures, and training resources is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, contributing to project management & customer service. Can apply critical thinking skills to solving problems and a strong technical aptitude.
