Global Quality Process Control System Engineer

As Global Quality Process Control System (PCS) Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be accountable for improving the process control for all Micron Fabs. You will work with Front End Fabs and other central teams to provide direction and assistance with process control systems, vendor engagement programs and help coordinate these systems across multiple facilities globally. In this position, you will be tasked with driving projects and programs, working with vendors for application improvement & upgrade that is aimed at reducing overall product variation which will result in higher process margins, increased yield and reliability as well as productivity! As GQ PCS engineer, you will be expected to own the SWAT in one or more of the quality systems, develop, and deploy BKM across the front end fabs. You also need to establish metrics, provide coaching and training of BKMs!

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study
  • 5 years experience in Process Control Engineering
  • A Process/Equipment Engineering background and experience
  • An understanding of Fab processes and tools
  • Familiarity with area and Fab software applications
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and people oriented: have strong persuasive and diplomatic interpersonal skills
  • Been recognized as an individual who obtains results through the coordination of successful teams
  • Good time-management skills
  • Good judgment
  • Above average working relationships with co-workers
  • A high level of self-motivation with a good work ethic
  • The ability to work unsupervised and support production needs
  • The ability and willingness to travel, including extended business travel
