The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $95,000 to 118,000
Summary:
Responsible for the hiring, supervision, training and directing of Meter Technicians. Maintains up-to-date proficiency in all aspects of electric metering, including current technologies and revenue protection investigation procedures; safety standards and administers continual field training to facilitate development of meter personnel and ensure the safest and highest level of customer satisfaction.
Coordinates the installation and maintenance and testing of complex revenue, system and system interconnection metering, and AMI metering systems in accordance with company, regulatory and industry standards while adhering to approved policies, procedures, safety rules, and budgets.
Develops working relationships with Line Supervisors, Distribution Field Engineers, Meter Engineers, ESA's, AMI team, Settlement Group, Electrical Engineers, and Electrical Contractors, State and Local Electrical inspectors to resolve electric service issues.
Actively participates in all aspects of the company safety program including behavior-based safety observations in the field to ensure adherence to CMP safety rules/policies as well as OSHA and NERC CIP compliance.
