The salary range for this position depends on experience level ranging from $78,091 to $97,614.
Responsibilities Provides technical and administrative support to the staff responsible for operating the Company electric transmission and distribution system and/or after-hours customer service and/or electric emergency and/or trouble dispatching activities and/or reviews, schedules, and coordinates electric facility outage applications. 1. Create and process purchase orders / IBuy orders for Substation Operations and NY storm events 2. Monitor and analyze information to ensure proper scheduling of equipment outages that affect the system. 3. Assure all employees receive required training in a timely fashion, collaborate with the training center in overall training program development to maximize trained knowledge within optimal time limits, and trains employees on policies and procedures as required. 4. Initiate and manage technical projects related to Substation Operations activities, including budget development and cost tracking.
Skills and Requirements Associates Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience required. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to perform detailed data verification efficiently and accurately Understanding of basic accounting preferred Knowledge of Purchasing Process Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel Recommended: • Knowledge of purchase order process • Knowledge of trouble/outage management systems • Knowledge of SAP Skills/Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proactive oriented. Provide procurement support for New York Substation Operations, including direct, delegated, and centralized purchases using SAP and IBUY. • Provide back-up support for New York storm invoice processing.
