Systems Engineer

Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) | $55–$60/hr | U.S. Citizenship Required

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and life-cycle management of subsystems used in DoD weapon systems, including Safe and Arm Devices and Height of Burst designs. This role will focus on requirements analysis, system integration, verification/validation, and customer support throughout the product life cycle.

What You’ll Do

• Translate customer needs into system requirements and manage traceability.
• Lead design synthesis, documentation, test planning, and verification.
• Perform trade studies, subsystem decomposition, and interface definition.
• Create and manage system requirements in DOORS and MBSE models.
• Support hardware builds, testing, and results documentation.
• Communicate technical plans and status to customers and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in EE, ME, or Systems Engineering + 4 yrs experience (or 8 yrs without degree).
• Experience with DOORS and requirements management.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer presentation skills.

Preferred

• Military product development experience.
• INCOSE® certifications (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP) or MBSE expertise.
• Familiarity with SysML diagrams, risk/safety analysis, and system performance modeling.

Work split: 70% office/cubical, 30% lab/production floor.
