About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team and provide technical support across the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Some of the responsibilities you should expect are the following:

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Document all support incidents and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams or resources for resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Perform software updates, patches, and system backups as needed.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of hardware and software.
  • Maintain inventory of hardware, software licenses, and other IT assets.
  • Stay current with technological developments and best practices in the IT field.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a help desk or service desk environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and remote desktop support tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
