Our department specializes in testing and evaluating a wide range of cutting tools and accessories—everything from saw chains and brush cutter blades to robotic mower knives, helmets, forestry belts, and harnesses. We're not just part of the development process—we're the ones who make sure these products perform at their best.
The team consists of 12 dedicated test engineers, each contributing their expertise across multiple projects. We work closely together, sharing responsibilities and supporting each other to deliver high-quality results. We've grown from a consultant-heavy setup to a stable, in-house team that's passionate about innovation and product excellence.
"You will be part of a great team where everyone contributes and supports each other. The work is varied—not just sitting in front of a screen—but also hands-on and analytical. You get to work closely with the products and see the impact of your work on the final result. That's something I really value" – Joel Bergman, hiring manager.
As a Test Engineer, you will work with the performance and mechanical properties of cutting components such as saw chains and robotic mower blades, along with other forestry and landscaping accessories. Your work will involve developing and refining advanced test methods, conducting both lab-based and field evaluations, and delivering insights that directly influence product development.
This role offers a hands-on connection to the final product, blending practical testing with analytical depth.
As a Test Engineer, you will take full ownership of planning, executing, and documenting your work in a structured and independent manner. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues across our own and other development departments, making strong communication skills and team spirit essential.
You will need solid technical understanding and analytical thinking to assess results, identify faults or deviations, and spot opportunities to improve testing methods. Precision is key, and success in this role requires being organized, self-driven, and goal-oriented.
