Wealth Services Specialist II

The Wealth Services Specialist II provides exceptional administrative support for the Huntington Private Bank front-office team. Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Verify documents for consistency, accuracy, and completeness prior to processing
  • Review file documentation to ensure it is up to date, accurate and in good order for processing
  • Responsible for electronic file retention in accordance with Wealth Services standards.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure timely processing
  • Respond to routine/complex incoming inquiries by email or telephone
  • Resolves complex issues relating to the trust accounting system
  • Responsible for daily reconciliation and identifying out of balance issues
  • Participates in cross-training on multiple Wealth Services functions
  • Creates job aids and assists with procedure reviews
  • Assists in the training of new Wealth Services colleagues
  • Maintain knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications include:

  • 1-3 years of experience with previous financial firm or accounting
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Experience with various account types i.e. trusts, estates, IRAs, etc
  • Experience with various assets, i.e. stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc
  • Experience/knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience with complex problem resolution

Exempt Status: No = eligible for overtime pay

Workplace Type: Office
