- As a Manager of Payroll Services, you will lead a team in managing payroll operations for clients, ensuring precision and timeliness. - You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on payroll matters and compliance with government regulations. - The role involves preparing, verifying, and processing all employee payroll-related payments accurately and on time. - You will ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll regulations, communicating key changes to the team. - Leading and mentoring a team of payroll experts will be a key responsibility, fostering a collaborative work environment. - The position requires close collaboration with client-facing teams to assist in client account setup and streamline their payroll needs. - You will be responsible for following payroll processes meticulously to ensure consistency and accuracy while identifying areas for improvement. - The role includes defining, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Payroll Services.

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of payroll processing experience, including expertise in year-end T4 auditing and ROE submissions. - A strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance is essential, with the ability to stay updated on changes. - The candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, with experience in reporting and metrics-driven decision-making. - Strong leadership abilities are required, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing payroll teams. - The successful individual will be able to multitask effectively, managing a portfolio of payroll clients while supporting and guiding their team. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to articulate complex payroll matters clearly to clients and team members. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to identify and address issues promptly will be crucial for success in this role. - Familiarity with technology and the ability to quickly learn new platforms and software will be beneficial, especially in a tech startup environment.
