Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Works with senior management, the Fiscal Services staff and other key leaders to ensure that the Hospital is operating effectively, with sound financial analysis and appropriate financial and operating controls.
2. Assesses hospital compliance with Federal and State regulations governing hospital financial matters, policies and procedures; payroll and accounts payable assigned functions daily; hospital financial/cash position; hospital monthly/quarterly/financial statements.
3. Leads the monthly financial close process, ensuring that timely and accurate financial information is available to hospital leadership.
4. Coordinates external audits, including, but not limited to, annual hospital financial statement audit, grant audits, and other financial audits.
