The Director, IT Portfolio Management & Agile Services collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand, while coaching and mentoring leaders and teams to instill enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies and practices. The Director requires an in-depth understanding of how organizational capabilities interrelate across the function or segment, with emphasis on Growth & Digital priorities and Lean Portfolio Management to align strategy and execution.
The Director, IT Portfolio Management & Agile Services organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT strategy, strategic roadmap, and available and prioritized budgets, and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is allocated in support of those goals. The Director coaches, educates, and mentors leaders and teams to enable scaled, sustainable adoption of Agile practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, predictability, and velocity.
The role establishes and maintains Lean Portfolio Management and Agile practices, standards, and guidelines to support transparent decision-making, investment funding, portfolio operations, and governance for the Growth & Digital portfolio. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and the role implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, improves performance, and provides input into the function's strategy.
Work-At-Home Requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense. A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required. Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range: $156,600 - $215,400 per year
