Environmental Solutions Engineer

Join our fast-growing SaaS team as an Environmental Solutions Engineer. If you specialize in air quality and noise and enjoy solving technical challenges, this role is for you. You'll work hands-on with our industrial software—configuring environments, building tools, and collaborating across teams to deliver tailored, reliable solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

1. Configuring and tailoring customer software instances using in-house tools
2. Developing customer-specific functionality such as automated alerts, dashboards, and reporting (JavaScript, Power BI)
3. Providing technical support and troubleshooting across software, hardware, and modeling issues
4. Setting up and managing operational meteorological and air quality models (WRF, CALMET, CALPUFF)
5. Installing, configuring, and maintaining environmental monitoring hardware (air quality and noise)
6. Conducting statistical analysis of customer datasets and developing site-specific models (R, Python)
7. Supporting the Customer Success Team in engaging with customers where necessary

You'll report to the Head of Operations, working side-by-side with our Technical Customer Success Managers.

Skills and Experience

• A degree in engineering (environmental, chemical, mechanical, or related)
• 2–4 years of experience in air quality (with noise as a strong secondary skill)
• Practical experience with environmental monitoring hardware
• Experience with meteorological and air quality modeling (WRF, CALMET, CALPUFF)
• Strong statistical/analytical skills (R, Python)

Bonus points for:

• Use of AI tools to streamline analysis and workflows
• Entry-level coding or scripting (Python, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms or configuration tools
