Supervisor, Field Service Engineering

The Supervisor, Field Service Engineering leads a team of field service engineers and provides field service engineering and technical assistance to customers in the areas of installation, startup, maintenance and repair, training and modification of equipment.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you will contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:

• Providing technical solutions to customers that involve engineering research impacting equipment or product design, testing of materials, process studies, and economic impact analysis.
• Routinely leading project teams and overseeing the contributions of more junior level engineers and technicians.
• Dispatching field service engineers to client locations to install, maintain, or repair equipment, as well as troubleshoot systems or assets.
• Managing an organization's field resources and coordinating the work of field service practitioners who provide clients with skilled, specialized, or proprietary services.

What will help you thrive in this role?

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field (required) Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (required) Fully competent in the skills and knowledge to work on complex engineering problems with only moderate coaching or guidance Proficient in relevant software and hardware Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
