Human Resources Operations Specialist
As part of the Human Resources Operations Services Team, the Human Resources Operations Specialist will support HR, business and functional leaders and employees across the US and Canada while also supporting global colleagues. The position is dedicated for efficiently and accurately handling a variety of HR transactions specific to the US and Canada, providing excellent customer service support and project leadership & support to the organization as needed.
This role will interact with other HR functional areas to support work and integration in the US and Canada such as: Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Compliance, Employee Relations and other enterprise functions.
The position will be located in Juarez, MX and reports into the HR Operations Supervisor in Greenville, SC.

- Working closely with HRBPs in the US and Canada each day to address various requirements and inquiries.
- Supporting HR Operational Services team projects including but not limited to acquisitions, divestitures, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Serving as Project Leader for initiatives, including enhancement work, functional improvements, training, and cross-functional efforts.
- Independently managing projects or workstreams involving global HRBPs, COEs, IT, Finance, and other functions. Present findings, solutions, oversee testing, communication, training, implementation, and conduct meetings as required.
- Prioritizing tasks and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Articulating project goals, expectations, and updates to team members and stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track.
- Being flexible and open to changes, adjusting project plans as needed to accommodate new information or shifting priorities.
- Being familiar with the requirements for US Payroll & Benefits systems and integrations necessary to ensure accuracy and troubleshooting when necessary.
- Efficiently and accurately entering, maintaining & validating human resources transactions in SuccessFactors (Hubbell's HCM system) and other HR systems as required.
- Generating and amending employment documentation to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local requirements.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of employee data and transactions.
- Ensuring timely resolution of tickets, emails, escalations & general inquiries in accordance with policies, procedures and the service model/agreement.
- Responsible for employee data loads & imports to support mass changes in partnership with HR IT.
- Utilizing system knowledge to understand business processes, identify gaps, opportunities, & system enhancements. Appropriately document & communicate suggestions to the team. Support implementation of approved improvements.
- Collaborating with HR teammates (HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and HR Operational Services) to foster effective relationships and create a positive system and process improvements.
What Will Help You Thrive In This Role?
- A college degree in Business, HR or a related field preferred.
- Expert level English proficiency, required.
- Must demonstrate fluency in spoken & written English with the ability to deliver presentations clearly and confidently to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of U.S. Payroll & Benefits process and regulations.
- Previous HRIS systems support experience (SuccessFactors strongly preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in HR.
- Must be proficient in Power Point and have exceptional Excel skills including V lookups and pivot tables.
- Experience leading projects.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management; proactive, with a strong sense of urgency.
