We are seeking a motivated and organized Quantum Software Engineer to join a newly formed research effort, Universal Control of Scaled Spin Systems (UCS3), under the leadership of Prof. Jason Petta (HRL and UCLA). This unique effort will combine the fast-paced and agile approach of an academic research environment with the abilities and scale of industrial technology development, with an emphasis on publishing achievements. The team's technical objective is to transition "Loss-DiVincenzo" single spin qubits from academic scale few-qubit devices to industrial-scale quantum information processors. Research will initially take place on HRL's Malibu campus and is expected to transition to UCLA's Quantum Innovation Hub in two to three years. As a software engineer on the UCS3 team, you will be responsible for developing software to control, characterize, and automate the operation of our devices.
