MIMICO is a proudly New Zealand-owned family business, supporting industries across construction, quarrying, mining, forestry, and more. With over 65,000 parts moving through our warehouse, we're looking for a capable Warehouse Operations 2IC to join our Matamata team and help keep industry moving.

This is a hands-on role you'll work closely with the Warehouse Manager to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. You'll oversee the day-to-day flow of the warehouse, including devanning containers, handling heavy parts (up to 30kg), and ensuring accuracy across stock counts and inventory records. Other key responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and locating stock, order picking, packing and dispatch processes.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Use CRM/WMS systems (PPS & Orion) to manage inventory accuracy.

You're an experienced warehouse professional who's confident with systems and hands-on operations. With a proactive, self-managing attitude, you can think on your feet, keep things moving, and step up when needed. What you'll bring:

• Demonstrated ability to supervise others and manage all aspects of warehouse operations efficiently
• Warehousing experience with strong organizational skills.
• Forklift licence (essential) and a full, clean driver's licence.
• Accredited Person Certificate (preferred, but training can be provided).
• Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 30kg.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
