Service Analytics Data Analyst

The Data Analyst, Program Analytics will be a member of the Service Analytics organization, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define the analytics agenda, translate business objectives into clear requirements, and drive the delivery and adoption of insights. Lead analytics initiatives for a program service by shaping a prioritized roadmap of both tactical and strategic analyses, with a focus on metrics such as funnel conversion, subscriber growth, churn rate, and other key user-base trends. Support a standardized intake and prioritization process and embed insights into regular business reviews, ensuring analytics is integrated into decision cycles across the organization. Perform analytics using Python and SQL to support data-driven decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with stakeholders to obtain requirements, define success metrics, and translate business questions into analytical initiatives.
  • Shape and maintain an analytics program roadmap, prioritizing projects by business impact, strategic alignment, and resource availability.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, such as funnel conversion, subscriber growth, churn rate, and other user-base trends, to measure program performance and inform decision-making.
  • Support a standardized intake and prioritization process, ensuring transparency and alignment on analytics requests.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and BI developers to coordinate the delivery of reports, dashboards, and perform ad hoc analyses.
  • Review draft findings and refine narratives, crafting clear visualizations and presentations that guide executive and operational reviews.
  • Embed insights into regular business forums, team meetings, leadership reviews, program checkpoints, so analytics drives action across the organization.
  • Perform analytics using SQL and Python to support data-driven decision making and empower stakeholders with timely, accurate insights.
  • Develop insights-driven dashboards to monitor key service metrics, empowering stakeholders with clear, actionable visualizations.

Education & experience recommended:

  • Four-year or graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related field.

Preferred certifications:

  • Programming Language/s Certification (SQL, Python, or similar)

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
