The Admissions Team acts as ambassadors of customer service, working to provide Zoo Guests with a memorable and seamless experience. Seasonal Guest Service Representatives (GSRs) provide information and assist Zoo Guests with ticket purchases at the Main Gate. In addition to ticket sales, Greeters are responsible for assisting Guests upon entering or exiting the Zoo, as well as monitoring re-entry. Admissions staff members will rotate through various Zoo attractions, including Giraffe feeding, Carousel, Stroller rentals and other venues as needed.
The Houston Zoo is made up of many moving parts with over 6,000 permanent residents (our animals) for whom we provide housing, meals, medical care and, yes, even education!
