Project Engineer - Public Infrastructure Designer

Job Posting

Serve as a key technical contributor on public infrastructure design projects under the direction of Project Managers. Develop detailed civil construction drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Prepare calculations, cost estimates, and specifications for roadway, drainage, water, and sewer improvements. Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, utilities, and subconsultants to ensure project success. Oversee technical aspects of projects including QA/QC, design standards, and regulatory compliance. Support construction administration tasks, including bid assistance, RFI responses, and field coordination. Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability. Contribute to schedule and budget management by proactively identifying challenges and solutions.

Required Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and a solid understanding of design fundamentals. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and drive deadlines independently. Strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to collaboration. Progressive experience in public infrastructure design.
