We are currently looking for an intern-engineering for our Houston, TX office.

Position Description

The engineer intern will provide engineering support on a variety of natural gas pipeline and meter projects to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of natural gas. This internship is designed to apply theoretical knowledge in a hands-on, supervised setting. You will work closely with a mentor and a team of engineers while contributing to meaningful projects and gaining valuable industry experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

• Enrolled in an accredited engineering program pursuing a bachelor of science in engineering.
• Strong skill level in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project.
• Well organized with a high degree of initiative and motivation.
• Ability to work positively and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound technical mindset to be able to review and understand engineering deliverables.
• 3.0 GPA.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

• Mechanical or civil engineering track.
• Prior internship or coop experience.
• Leadership position in school projects and/or extracurricular organizations.
• Volunteer experience.
• 3.5 GPA.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Civil/mechanical engineering.
• Must be a current junior or senior student.
