Corporate ReUse Support Specialist Location: Cheektowaga, NY 14225 Duration: 3+ Months contract with possibility of extension and FTE Shift: Standard

Job Description: Overview:

Completes a variety of clerical duties to support Corporate ReUse activities, including processing, recordkeeping and reporting, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce routine and complex standard and ad-hoc departmental reports and spreadsheets including, but not limited to, project or product strategy analysis, profitability, historical reporting and work flow, statistical and financial analysis.
  • Manage digital image data base and upload images to existing website. Process photos, edit, retouch images and restore photos using appropriate software for website. Provide written descripted information on all items being input into the system.
  • Assist management in creating and maintaining all departmental procedural and policy manuals.
  • Serve as liaison with numerous departments on tracking internal movement of all personal computer serial numbers shipped and received from Corporate ReUse.
  • Complete all hard drive serial number reports and verify all wipe drive reports for internal audit and Federal regulations.
  • Participate in production of new internal systems including, but not limited to, testing, procedures and implementation.
  • Monitor functions to ensure procedures and controls are functioning as designed.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the Bank brand.
  • Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • The position applies simple judgment and defined solutions in straightforward situations.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associate’s degree and a minimum of 1 years’ operational support experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 3 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years’ operational support experience
  • Strong familiarity with pertinent word processing, spreadsheet and graphic design software
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proven time management skills
  • Experience handling multiple tasks at a time
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong data interpretation skills

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ operational support experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and function as a member of a team

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate with individuals using a telephone
  • Ability to hear and speak effectively on phone
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by spoken word and communicate verbally with others accurately and quickly
