As an HVAC Controls - Senior Field Service Technician here at Honeywell you will respond and resolve complex service calls providing technical support and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of small service jobs, time and work material, and preventive maintenance may be assigned as well. This customer will have various products installed that fall into the HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.
You will report directly to the Field Service Supervisor and work on-site at NASA JSC, Houston, following a Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our service operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the growth of our business by ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
• Can program more than one system.
• Perform system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches.
• Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer.
• Program EBIs.
• Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess certifications).
• Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations.
• Proper use of safety personal protection equipment.
• Security and other clearances as required by customer.
Qualifications:
You Must Have:
• 3 years HVAC Building Automation Systems experience, including operating a voltage multi-meter and wiring relays.
• Ability to work independently 75% of the time.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• US Citizen and able to obtain military clearance
• Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell.
We Value:
• 5 years of experience with Comfort Point 1 programming
• Certifications in AC controls.
• Some college or technical courses obtained through educational institutions.
