We have an opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our Honeywell team in the Onity unit. Integrated into the Technical Assistance team and depending on the Direct Markets Technical Assistance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the service to our customers focusing on the start-ups and reviews of the facilities, actively participating in the achievement of the stipulated objectives of the sales department.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Realization of start-ups of new facilities.
  • Technical reviews derived from maintenance contracts stipulated with customers.
  • Training both external and internal customers. Technical Telephone Assistance.
  • Management and follow-up of technical claims, coordinating the subsequent corrective measures:
    • Management of repairs and returns of defective material.
    • Management and control of massive product substitutions.
    • Performance of weekend guards EH&S: functions and requirements of an employee within the MAS Manual.
  • Support EH&S and the efforts made in the facilities in terms of prevention, understanding and complying with its policy.
  • Participate in subcommittees, as appropriate, such as the emergency team, to support efforts to improve E&S performance.
  • Advise your coworkers when unsafe acts or conditions occur.
  • Correct unsafe conditions when possible, and if referred to the supervision of risk situations it will be when the situation cannot be easily corrected.

MAIN SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical Engineering or FPII training, preferably in the Electronics-IT branch.
  • Minimum experience of at least 1 year performing technical assistance or support.
  • Full availability to travel in the assigned area.
  • Availability to cover technical assistance shifts on weekends (by phone).
  • Driver's license B1.
  • Medium/High level of English.
  • High level of French, for cases of Technical Assistance in the France area.
  • High technical knowledge of the entire Onity product range.
