Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer with proven service/project/experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment and systems, while also managing service-related projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Technical Service & Support with Proposals

• Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to clients.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during service activities.

Project Management

• Lead and manage service-related projects including upgrades, retrofits, and system integrations.
• Develop project plans, schedules.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
• Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.

Customer Interaction

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Provide training and technical guidance to end-users.
• Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed service records and project documentation.
• Prepare service reports, project updates, and feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5-6 years of experience in field service engineering, with at least 2-3 years in project execution.
• Strong understanding of Marine/industrial equipment, automation systems, or similar technologies.
• Experience in managing small to medium-scale technical projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel and work at customer sites as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with SAP systems/Autocad and service management platforms.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
