As an Electrical Test Engineer Apprentice at Honeywell, in Southend, you will be allocated an experienced mentor to guide and train you to achieve the testing and evaluation of electrical wiring devices and their components. The role is designed to provide hands-on training and experience in electrical testing processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will learn to perform tests, document results, and support the engineering team in various projects in a UKAS accredited laboratory environment.
This role is part of our early careers program, designed to help people launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This degree level apprenticeship is set up for 5 years.

For this Degree level Electromechanical Engineer apprenticeship, Honeywell will provide you with the below, alongside a salary, with annual uplifts, and competitive benefits.
A level 6 (integrated degree), in BEng Electromechanical engineering; BSc engineering, or another engineering degree that fully aligns to the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors of the apprenticeship.
You will work alongside qualified and experienced Honeywell Engineers to develop your skills whilst undertaking part time academic studies at an accredited education provider.
When you're not in college, (during working hours), you'll gain hands on experience on site working in a small team of experienced test engineers at a UKAS/ASTA accredited testing laboratory:
