As an Advanced Functional & System Test Engineer (w/m/d) (Location Ratingen / Hybrid possible) you are part of our V&V Quality Test Team and work closely with international R&D and quality teams.

Your main goal is to ensure and continuously improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our products through structured testing methods and automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Development, introduction, and optimization of automated testing methods as well as ensuring efficient test coverage
  • Conception and implementation of release tests (performance, reliability) as well as the development of the test infrastructure
  • Planning, setup, execution, and evaluation of system, functional tests
  • Analysis of errors, complaints, and quality deviations including root cause analysis and derivation of measures
  • Creation and maintenance of test concepts, test plans, test cases, and structured test documentation
  • Close cooperation with internal and external partners (R&D, laboratories, certification bodies) for test coordination

Requirements:

  • Study in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, or comparable technical education
  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing, system testing, or test automation
  • Programming skills in Python (C/C++ is a plus) as well as experience with test infrastructures
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, testing methods, and quality processes
  • Analytical, structured, and independent working style with high problem-solving skills
  • Very good German and English skills as well as pronounced team and communication skills

  • Product management, project management, and technical service
  • Production, logistics, and purchasing
  • External test houses, certification bodies, and authorities
  • Suppliers, partners, and international stakeholders
  • Internal support and engineering teams
