Advanced Tableau Data Analyst

Advanced Tableau Data Analyst for Intelligrated Services, LLC in Morris Plains, NJ

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot analytics software and derive key insights based off tableau visualization and data analysis.

Debug system issues and work with end users to implement updates and train them on how to use Tableau analytics tools and visualizations.

Conduct deep research and develop visualizations to highlight insights and make suggestions on how to improve efficiency or understand patterns in underlying data collected by a business or organization.

Create advanced automated data sources, flows and pipelines by ingesting and transforming data from different sources.

Elevate standards to help drive a data culture.

Provide data-driven insights to enable decision-making.

Work with the business units to establish KPIs and methodology and then create the appropriate reports and analysis.

Develop, own, and present advanced dashboards to Senior Management that provide actionable insights.

Create complex SQL queries and perform ad-hoc and exploratory data analysis.

Create user groups and define permissions for each group based on the group's requirements and data sensitivity.

Define standards, policies, and procedures for data cataloging, ensure data quality and compliance, and work with data owners to resolve data-related issues.

Document internal processes to ensure data integrity across the organization.

Investigate data anomalies and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Develop / enforce standard practices.

Audit peer reports and provide constructive feedback.

Monitor and assess Tableau performance; identify problems and institute corrective actions as required.

Identify, track, and manage risk.

Responsible for understanding and interpreting customer/business Tableau requirements to work in partnership with customers/business towards derived solutions and leveraging existing solutions.

Responsible for the direction, oversight, and outcome of all assigned tasks.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree* or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Business Analytics and Information Management, or a related field, and 2 years of designing Tableau dashboards. Must have 2 years of experience with the following: experience in SQL query scripting, debugging, and execution; experience starting Tableau program; experience with Salesforce, Oracle/SAP; experienced with data analysis; experience working in a data-intensive organization with large-scale datasets; Excel proficiency; previous eCommerce / material handling experience; proficiency in Python or other scripting language. Must have one of the following certifications: Tableau Desktop Certified Associate or Tableau Desktop Specialist. Up to 5% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted when not at a client site. *Employer will accept experience gained prior to degree award date.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Location: Morris Plains, NJ

40 hours/week

Salary: $109,901/year

Employee Referral Fee: $1500

The annual base salary range for this position is <$83,000 - $110,000>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
