Operations Manager
HomeWell Care Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing home care agency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at problem-solving, and is comfortable supporting both clients and caregivers directly. The Operations Manager will oversee staffing, scheduling, client documentation, and caregiver communication to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care. Flexibility is important, as occasional evening, overnight, and weekend coverage may be required.

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to processes
- Manage the recruiter and scheduler to maintain fully staffed, high-performing teams
- Make hiring, termination, and performance decisions for administrative and caregiver staff
- Assist with urgent shift coverage when needed, including evenings, overnights, and weekends
Client & Caregiver Services
- Ensure client care plans are current and services meet individual needs
- Review care logs and promptly address concerns with clients or caregivers
- Handle client and caregiver concerns with professionalism and compassion
Administrative & Compliance
- Maintain accurate client and employee documentation, including intake forms and care agreements
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies
- Respond to phone calls and emails in a professional, courteous manner
- Assist with reporting, billing, and insurance communication as needed
Success Metrics
Your performance will be measured by:
- Caregiver retention โ maintaining a stable, engaged workforce
- Caregiver and client satisfaction scores โ delivering consistent, high-quality service
- Scheduling accuracy and coverage โ ensuring shifts are filled efficiently and reliably
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative or operations experience (home care or healthcare preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to occasionally cover evening, overnight, or weekend shifts
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling/care management software
- Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices is a plus
- Previous caregiving experience is beneficial but not required
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred

Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time, exempt position
- MondayโFriday, 7:30 a.m.โ4:00 p.m. with flexibility for periodic evening, weekend and on-call needs
- Local travel to client homes in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas
